Turns out when you start talking about harassment/being a woman in tech, folks from the internet complain to your company about how they like your technical content and it's 'fine' that you're a feminist" but they're offended that you "hate/discriminate against men". Seriously.
Speaking up about your experiences is not misandry. It's not "man hating". Wanting equality doesn't take ANYTHING away from men. I honestly don't even know how to express how icky the whole situation makes me feel.
My job is not all of me. Speaking up about these issues and trying to improve them? That's part of me, too. So don't consume my technical content and then complain when I speak out about things that affect me and so many other people in this industry. Be better than that.
