Mom thought Thanksgiving was last week.
When I was on the phone with her, she confused me with my brother three or four times again.
Luckily her and I set up a durable power of attorney after my older sister passed.
This isn't what I expected in my life at 39.

I’m so sorry. I’m just 65 and I’m having memory issues. Hoping it’s just been the election stress.
If you have a loved one suffering from dementia or Alzheimer’s, consider creating a durable power of attorney form as soon as possible.
Talk to them about their wishes while you can.
I still get clear days, but they are fewer and fewer these days.
