I've been testing Night Sight for a week. It's very different from SLR low-light photography. You don't use wide aperture (f2.8 or f1.4) so focus is better (though no shallow depth of field).
It still helps if you can hold the phone steady. Rest it against a table, brace it against a wall, even tilt back and put it on your chest. But Night Sight will compensate for some motion via "motion metering." Still a good idea to take multiple shots esp. with moving subjects.
